Every Bhutanese family has a slightly different momo recipe on how to make them delicious. Momos can be meat  or vegetables.
The quantity required for each Ingredients depends on the number of momo you want to prepare . In here here I will consider for fourpeople ).

The key  Ingredients required for the preparation of the above recipe are as follows;
1. To make dough;
  • flour (about 600 grams)
  • water (3-5 cups)
2. . To make wrapping content mixture.
  • meat (about 500 grams) - depends on kinds of momo.
  • onion (about 500 grams)
  • 8 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 3 pieces of chilies
  • oil (about 70 ml). - depends on how oily you want your momo to be.
  • salt (1 table spoon)
  • tasting powder (2 pinch) - not essential.
Steps;
1.      Chop the meat into small pieces (or minced meat).
2.      Chop onion, garlic and chilies into  pieces and mix it properly with the minced meat, oil and salt. Most prefer to add more oil. Massage the mixture with your hand or spoon for 2-3 minutes or until minced meat and onion is proportionately mixed.
3.      To make a wrapping, make a small ball of the dough and make the wrapping. The wraping should be about 3-4 inch circular length and about 3-4mm thick.
4.      Put the mixture on the wrapping on the left hand and Fold the sides together with finger and thumb pressing together. Make wrinkles in circular pattern from left to right.
5.      Put the momo into a container to steam  for 15-20 minutes. Check if your finger sticks on the dumpling. If it does not stick, it means its cooked and ready to serve.
The Reason why I enjoy; Bhutanese enjoy momo with hot chilly paste. Chilly paste is necessary to be served with the dumpling. Simply add water, salt and chilly power and stir it thoroughly. Momo is one of the most popular food or snacks in Bhutan.

Personally, momo is my best and I enjoy preparing it especially beef momo. Its easy and yummy and delicious all the way .
